Renault by Numbers

I don’t know if it’s a touch of OCD but it’s true that this morning I woke up and felt the need to catalogue all the Renaults by the numbered prefix. Still wait until I write about the movie career of Jesse Ventura, that dear readers( well one reader at the last count) will be worth staying up late for. Starting with the Renault 3 and finishing with the 30.

When I was much much younger, well maybe three years ago I was totally obsessed with cars and especially really rubbish ones. Some of the renaults here are definately the ugliest motors you will ever come across but all have a special place in my heart.

For readers hoping for a bit of photographic insight, you must buy Robert Doisneau book all about his career as a Industrial photographer working for Renault. That book inspired me to become a photographer, although it has to be said by many of my colleagues, what photographer?
